Eric Welch

Eric Welch is a Laboratory Director in the Global R&D division of the Automotive Aftermarket at 3M, where they leverage a rich background in technology, strategy, and leadership. They have a history of developing innovative products using emerging technologies such as Machine Learning and IoT, and have successfully managed R&D and new product development portfolios. Previously, Eric held various roles including Software Consultant at Thomson Reuters Westlaw and Product Development Manager at Spok, where they utilized Agile methodologies to drive strategic projects. They are currently pursuing a Master's degree in Management of Technology at the University of Minnesota while holding a BA in Computer Science from Wartburg College.
