Hansol Lee

Hansol Lee is a Senior Research Engineer at 3M since October 2021, focusing on the investigation of viscoelastic properties of polymeric materials. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Georgia Institute of Technology, where significant contributions were made to the study of responsive branched mikto-arm and ionic liquid materials. Earlier, Hansol worked as a researcher at the University of Georgia College of Engineering, conducting life cycle analysis on nanocellulose-based composites, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Georgia, where research involved developing bio-based nanomaterials and examining their properties. An undergraduate research internship at Seoul National University featured investigations into silk sericin recovery methods. Academic credentials include a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Master’s degree in Biochemical Engineering from the University of Georgia, and a Bachelor’s degree in Biomaterials Engineering from Seoul National University.
