James Baker

James Baker is the Director and Assistant Chief IP Counsel at 3M, a role they currently hold. They previously served as Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at 3M from 2006 to 2020. They were Vice President & Intellectual Property Counsel at Samsung Information Systems of America from 2003 to 2005, and an Associate Intellectual Property Attorney at Shumaker and Sieffert from 2005 to 2006. They attended Mitchell Hamline School of Law from 1999 to 2003.
