Jonathan Sry

Jonathan Sry is an experienced legal professional specializing in intellectual property, currently serving as the Senior Intellectual Property Counsel at 3M since December 2015. In this role, Jonathan manages IP matters for the Automotive Aftermarket Division and Industrial Mineral Products Division, collaborating with product development and corporate teams on patent applications and enforcement strategies. Prior experience includes working as a Patent Attorney and Patent Engineer at IBM, where Jonathan oversaw patent prosecution and drafted numerous applications across various technological fields. Jonathan's background also includes internships at the University of Minnesota Office of Technology Commercialization, the U.S. Department of Energy, and Tilleke & Gibbins International Ltd, along with roles in the Army National Guard and positions in chemical analysis at Clean Harbors and Valspar.
