SVP, Customer Operations at 3M

Karina Chavez is the Senior Vice President of Customer Operations at 3M. Karina has over twenty years of experience in customer service, complaint resolution, and business consulting.

Karina began their career at Arthur Andersen as a business consultant. Karina then worked as the Customer Complaint Resolution Manager for Picanol N.V., defining and enabling customer service processes across nine countries. In 2005, they became a Senior Manager at Emercomex before starting their own company, Argentum Gestion Estrategica, in 2007.

At 3M, Karina has been instrumental in developing and implementing customer-centric policies and procedures. Karina has also led 3M’s customer operations team through several large-scale initiatives, such as the launch of 3M’s e-commerce platform and the implementation of a new customer relationship management system. Under their leadership, 3M’s customer operations team has won several awards, including the prestigious Service Excellence Award from the International Customer Service Association.

Karina Chavez has a Ph.D. in Economics and Statistics from Université libre de Bruxelles, an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management, an MSc in Economics for Development from University of Oxford, and a BA in Economics from Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México.
