Luis Jessen is a Senior Research Engineer at 3M in the Corporate Research Processing Lab, where they focus on materials and radiation processing. Luis previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Iowa, specializing in the synthetic development of nanoscale hyperbranched oligomeric architectures. They also held a position as a Research & Development Graduate Intern at 3M, studying novel phosphine oxide photo-initiators. Luis has experience mentoring high school and undergraduate students in chemical engineering and previously acted as an Assistant Instructor at Brigham Young University-Idaho, leading discussions in organic chemistry. Luis holds a Master of Science and is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy at the University of Iowa.
