Manisha Shivrayan

Manisha Shivrayan is a Senior Product Development Engineer at 3M, specializing in the development of sustainable cleaning and scouring products within the Home Care Division since June 2021. Prior to this role, Manisha served as a Graduate Researcher at the University of Massachusetts Amherst from September 2016 to April 2021, focusing on structure-property investigations of amphiphilic oligomers and their interactions at liquid crystal interfaces, resulting in innovative discoveries, including a sensitive protein detection assay and responsive emulsion droplets. Additional experience includes a summer internship in Research and Development at Streck in 2020, and undergraduate research at IISER Mohali, where Manisha contributed to the synthesis of organic compounds with indole scaffolds. Manisha holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a BS-MS dual degree in Chemistry from IISER Mohali.
