Mark D. Gehlsen

Mark D. Gehlsen is currently a member of the College of Engineering Advisory Board at Iowa State University and has held various key positions in research and development, including Vice President at multiple divisions. Mark has extensive experience at 3M, where roles included Six Sigma Black Belt, Laboratory Manager, and Technical Manager. Previously, Mark served as a Process Engineer at Shell and was a member of the Department of Chemical Engineering & Materials Science Advisory Board at the University of Minnesota. Mark earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering from the University of Minnesota between 1989 and 1993.
