Melissa Buss

Melissa Buss is the Assistant Chief of Intellectual Property at 3M, where they lead a global IP team for a major health and safety business generating $5 billion in worldwide sales. With over twenty-five years of experience in corporate law, Melissa has held various leadership roles, including overseeing significant patent litigation and managing cross-functional teams to improve IP processes. They have a history of fostering high-performing teams and have been recognized for their exceptional service and responsiveness. Melissa earned a Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University.
