Rumesh Piyasinghe

Rumesh Piyasinghe, Ph.D., is a Senior Data Scientist at 3M, where they utilize their expertise in predictive analysis and anomaly detection. They previously served as a Data Scientist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago and gained teaching experience as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University. Rumesh earned their Master’s and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Computer Science from Iowa State University, where they also conducted research on an Oblivious Storage System for Privacy-preserving Access of Outsourced Data. They have hands-on experience in classification, clustering, and time series analysis.
