Sumit Joshi is a Research and Development Leader for Commercial Branding at 3M, where they lead a team focused on driving innovation and product development within the Transportation and Electronics Business Group in India. With over two decades of experience in design strategy and material science, Sumit previously held roles such as Senior Technical Specialist and Project Director, contributing to application development for key accounts across Asia. They are also an external faculty member at the National Design Institute, advising students and facilitating curriculum development. Sumit earned a Master’s degree in Product Design from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
