Katrine Dester

Katrine Dester is currently the Head of Systems Engineering at 3Shape, where they manage a specialized team focused on developing medical devices in compliance with EU and US regulations. Previously, they served as Associate Director of Systems Engineering at UNEEG Medical A/S, overseeing design control and verification testing for new products. Katrine also held significant roles at Contura and Radiometer, where they directed regulatory processes and contributed to design verification within In Vitro Diagnostics. Additionally, they were an Assistant Professor at Professionshøjskolen Absalon, teaching subjects related to health care and biochemistry. Katrine earned a Cand. Scient. in Clinical Nutrition from Københavns Universitet.
