Mathias Christensen

Mathias Christensen is aSpecial Projects Engineer at 3Shape since December 2022, previously serving as a Student Engineer for R&D. Prior experience includes a role as a Student Assistant in Mechanical R&D at NKT Photonics, where responsibilities involved assembling laser prototypes and designing mechanical components. Mathias developed a patent-pending method for 3D printing during a Bachelor Thesis at Odico A/S, and contributed significantly as Lead Mechanical Product Developer at Nordsense, overseeing the manufacturing of innovative waste collection sensors. Early career experiences include an internship at Facebook focusing on product development for the app "Slingshot." Mathias holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Manufacturing and Materials Engineering at the Technical University of Denmark.
