Michael Bing

Michael Bing is an experienced software developer and architect specializing in real-time 3D reconstruction technologies for intraoral dental scanning projects at 3Shape since January 2013. Previously, Michael served as a research assistant at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Southern Denmark, where contributions included C++ development for the RobWork software package and the creation of calibration software. An education background in Robot Systems Engineering culminates in a Master’s degree from Syddansk Universitet, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in the same field and a Higher Technical Exam in IT/Communication. Additional expertise includes programming with technologies such as Microsoft Kinect, OpenCV, C++, and MATLAB from earlier roles at Teknologisk Institut.
