Simon Fischer is the current Senior Director of R&D Software at 3Shape. Simon has been with the company since 2012, starting as a Project Manager. In 2015, they became Group Manager, and in 2017, they became Director of R&D Software.

Fischer has been instrumental in the development of several successful medical software devices that are used by thousands of people in the dental industry. Simon is responsible for leading innovative and highly skilled specialists in the development of cutting-edge technology. Simon also has an EBA from Copenhagen University College of Engineering in Engineering Business Administration. Simon is currently a Graduate Student at the University of Maryland in Computer Science.
