Tayo Carvalhal

Tayo Carvalhal is an accomplished technology leader currently serving as the Head of Enterprise Architecture at 3Shape since September 2023. With extensive experience at Microsoft from July 2016 to July 2023 in various cloud roles, Tayo has a strong background in hybrid cloud and IoT solutions. Prior to Microsoft, Tayo held multiple senior architect positions at Ericsson from 2005 to 2016, including Chief Architect for IoT Cloud Services and a key contributor to initiatives involving 50 billion connected devices. Tayo began a career in technology at B Braun as a trainee assembler programmer in 1989 and later worked as a system designer at EP-consulting. Educational qualifications include an M.Sc. in Computer Science from The Open University and a Master of Science in Computing for Commerce and Industry from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
