Alaa Gamal

Alaa Gamal is a skilled software engineer with a robust background in software development, computer vision, and image processing. Currently employed at Atomica AI since September 2021, Gamal designs and develops solutions tailored to client specifications while implementing advanced algorithms and automated testing using C++. Previous experience includes contributions to the Cairo University Eco-Racing Team as an Autonomous Development Software Engineer, where lane detection algorithms were developed for an autonomous vehicle. Additionally, Gamal has participated in roles at IBM as a Digital Nation Africa Ambassador, a software testing intern at ATW Ltd., and earlier engagements in public relations and community outreach. Alaa Gamal holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from Cairo University, completed in August 2021.
