3Sonic is developing a portable medical device that provides high-resolution 3D images for margin analysis of the surgical specimen in the operating room. The 3D image generation is conducted in less than five minutes by our novel patented technique enabling the surgeon to measure the surgical margins during the operation. This will increase the rate of operations with clear surgical margins and reduce need for additional treatments such as reoperation and radiotherapy. 3Sonic can therefore reduce morbidity and hospital costs for cancer treatment and improve survival rates.
