3thought is a design studio based in Plymouth, Massachusetts, partnering with organizations to clarify who they are and how they show up in the world.

We work across brand, digital, and physical touchpoints to help businesses and institutions build cohesive, durable design systems. Our work often begins when things feel inconsistent, unclear, or no longer aligned—whether that’s a brand that’s evolved, a website that’s hard to manage, or materials that no longer work together.

Led by partners Matt Ulvila and Shea Baker, 3thought brings a thoughtful, strategic approach to design. We focus on clarity, consistency, and long-term usefulness, helping clients make confident decisions that hold up over time.

Rather than chasing trends or one-off deliverables, we help organizations build foundations they can grow with—across print, digital, and environments.
