Leandro Rosa

Leandro R. has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and DevOps. Leandro is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer and DevOps at 4.screen since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Smart4Diagnostics GmbH from August 2020 to March 2022, where they held the position of Solutions Architect / DevOps Lead Engineer. During their time at Smart4Diagnostics, Leandro was responsible for gathering customer requirements, leading team meetings, and developing microservices using Spring Boot, Kafka, and Kubernetes. Leandro also played a crucial role in planning and negotiating the product roadmap with business owners.

Before joining Smart4Diagnostics, Leandro worked at Wirecard as a Senior Software Engineer from January 2020 to July 2020. Leandro then moved on to iFood, where they served as a Senior Software Engineer from July 2019 to November 2019. At iFood, their responsibilities included developing microservices using Spring Boot and AWS SQS, implementing features for deliverers, and optimizing memory usage by changing the JVM.

Leandro's previous experience includes working at Conta Azul as a Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer from November 2017 to June 2019. At Conta Azul, they worked on the integration of business owners with accountants in real-time and made architecture decisions. Leandro also taught best practices to their colleagues, such as Clean Code, DDD, SOLID, and Clean Architecture.

Leandro started their career at NeoGrid as a System Analyst from July 2011 to November 2017. Leandro was involved in evolving the existing invoice processing software and building a new version for the Peruvian market. Leandro used technologies like Spring, Primefaces, and RabbitMQ for developing and maintaining the invoice processing software.

Lastly, Leandro worked at SoftExpert Software for Excellence as a Software Developer from April 2006 to July 2011. During this time, they worked on the evolution of the Balanced Scorecard System, developed a BI solution, and maintained legacy code written in Delphi. Leandro also developed and maintained a Balanced Scorecard methodology software using PHP, ExtJS, and Java with Tomcat.

Leandro R. completed their Bachelor's degree in Technology in Information Systems at the Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina from 2006 to 2011. Leandro then pursued a Post-Graduate degree in Software Engineering at UniSociesc Centro Universitário from 2014 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, Leandro obtained certification as an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer from Oracle in April 2017.
