Stuart Angert

Stuart Angert serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Independent Health Foundation since April 2019 and has held multiple judging roles for the New York State Business Plan Competition and 43North since April 2017. Angert has been a Commissioner for the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation and a member of the Advisory Board for the University at Buffalo Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership since September 2005. With additional roles on the Advisory Council for Canisius College's Richard J. Wehle School of Business and the Selection Committee for the Buffalo Niagara Business Ethics Association since January 2009, Angert also contributes as a board member for the Adirondack Park Institute. Further involvement includes participation on an Advisory Board for KeyBank since September 2004 and a long-term engagement in Private Equity and Strategic Investments with Anvelco since 1989. Stuart Angert's educational background includes a BA in Spanish and Mathematics from Colgate University, an MBA from The Wharton School, and additional studies at Harvard University.
