Dr. Manja Boerman

Dr. Manja Boerman serves as the Executive Chair of the Board at 4basebio since July 2025, focusing on synthetic DNA for gene therapies and vaccines. Additionally, Dr. Boerman is a member of the Supervisory Board for Syngene International Limited and DINAMIQS, contributing to advancements in contract research and viral vector manufacturing. Previously, Dr. Boerman held roles including Interim CEO at Prothya Biosolutions and member of the Supervisory Board at Centrient Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Boerman has extensive leadership experience, including serving as President in various capacities at Catalent Pharma Solutions, Aesica Pharmaceuticals, and Patheon. Dr. Boerman earned a PhD in Biochemistry from the University at Buffalo.
