Edward Nesbitt

Edward Nesbitt is a scientist at 4basebio, specializing in protein engineering and enzymology for disease treatment and sustainable chemical production. They submitted their PhD thesis on the discovery and engineering of novel thermostable terpene synthases for a thermophilic terpene platform. Previously, they gained experience at Public Health England, where they worked on the expression of the Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever virus nucleoprotein, and served as a senior scientist at Evonetix Ltd. Edward holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry with First Class Honours and a PhD from the University of Bath.
