Andreas Fouras

Andreas Fouras is the Founder and CEO of 4DMedical Limited, a global medical technology company specializing in lung function analysis for patients with respiratory diseases. He is also currently serving as the Principal Investigator at the Australian Lung Health Initiative. Andreas previously held various positions at Monash University from 2009 to 2017, including Adjunct Professor, Professor, Associate Professor, and Senior Research Fellow. Additionally, he was a Member of the Executive Committee at the Australian Academy of Science EMCR Forum from 2013 to 2016. He holds a PhD in Particle Image Velocimetry from Monash University, an M.Eng.Sci. in Fluid Mechanics from Monash University, and a B.Eng. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Queensland. Andreas also has a background in the Australian Army Reserves.
