Andrejs Kotovs

Andrejs Kotovs has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies. Andrejs started their career in SEB banka Latvia, where they worked as a Client Services Officer, Private Clients Manager, and AML Officer. Andrejs then moved on to Aizkraukles banka, where they served as an IS Quality Manager, participating in various banking system implementation projects. After that, they joined Tilde ~ as a Tester, primarily focusing on testing software, web applications, and mobile applications. Currently, Andrejs is working at 4finance as a Senior QA Engineer / QA Area Lead, where they are responsible for ensuring the quality of the company's products and leading the testing process. Andrejs has experience in test planning, design, test automation, and managing the local QA recruitment process.

Andrejs Kotovs earned a Bachelor's degree in Finance from the Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, completing their studies from 2000 to 2004. Andrejs has also obtained various certifications, including "Learning NGINX" and "End-to-End JavaScript Testing with Cypress.io" from LinkedIn in 2020, "Creative, Serious and Playful Science of Android Apps" from Coursera in 2014, "Effective Team Development with Microsoft Solutions Framework for Agile Software Development and Team Foundation Server" from Business Potential Discovery in 2011, and "ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level" from iSQI GmbH - International Software Quality Institute in 2011. Additionally, they hold a certificate in Prevention of Money Laundering course from the Association of Latvian Commercial banks (ALCB), without specifying the year obtained.
