Matej Holec

Matej Holec has a diverse work experience in the field of data science and software engineering. Matej started their career in 2006 as a Software Engineer Jr. at CertiCon a.s. Matej then worked as a part-time Researcher at the Czech Technical University in Prague from 2007 to 2014. In 2010, they completed an internship at the National Institute of Informatics. Matej later joined Profinit in 2014 as a Data Scientist and worked there until 2016. Since 2016, Matej has been working at 4finance, starting as a Data Scientist and eventually becoming a Lead Data Scientist.

Matej Holec holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Artificial Intelligence and Biocybernetics, which they obtained from Czech Technical University in Prague from 2007 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Technical Cybernetics from the same university from 2001 to 2007. Matej also holds a certification as a Professional Scrum Master™ I (PSM I) from Scrum.org, obtained in 2021.
