Katie Parkes is a Technical Director with over 20 years of experience in model development, focusing on large-scale projects in Prophet and MoSeS. Previously, Katie served as an Actuarial Technical Lead at Legal & General and as a Model Development Manager at Halifax, where they contributed significantly to the IFRS17 project and enhancements to both Prophet and MoSeS models. Katie began their career as a Model Developer at AXA Sunlife and has held various roles in the actuarial field, including as an International Actuarial Consultant at Aviva. They hold a BSc Hons in Economics from the University of Southampton.
