Ryan McDonald has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries.

Ryan started their career at Moe's Southwest Grill in 2005, where they worked as an Expeditor, Prep Cook, and later as a Key Hourly employee. Ryan was then promoted to Assistant Manager in 2011, where they managed up to 15 employees, conducted interviews, and ran store meetings. Ryan also handled catering and managed store promotions and appearance.

In 2010, Ryan joined GameStop as a Game Advisor, then was promoted to Senior Game Advisor in 2011.

Starting in 2012, Ryan worked at Groupon as a Customer Service Representative, where they quickly moved up to become a Customer Service Supervisor. In this role, they responded to customer complaints, supervised multiple teams, and improved customer satisfaction scores. Ryan also acted as a liaison with other departments and resolved cross-departmental issues.

Currently, they are employed at 4Patriots as a Virtual Services Manager. Ryan started in 2020 and has held multiple roles within the company. As a Virtual Customer Support Supervisor, they are responsible for responding to customer complaints and maintaining a positive customer experience. Ryan supervises multiple teams and collaborates with international remote support teams to meet service level agreements. Ryan also acts as a liaison with other departments and ensures the upkeep of Email/Live Chat CRMs and conversational AI systems.

Ryan McDonald earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Musical Theatre from the State University of New York Cortland, graduating in 2010. In addition to their formal education, Ryan also obtained certifications from the Gorgias Academy. Ryan completed the Basic Agent certification in March 2022 and followed up with the Lead Agent certification, also from Gorgias Academy, in the same month and year.
