4th Street Capital (“4SC”) was created to fill a gap in the market – it is difficult to find competent and patient transition capital for founders looking to retire. Together, we want to help others transition their life’s work in a sustainable way, to a skilled team that will work alongside existing staff to carry on the legacy that’s been created.

4SC is looking for lower middle-market companies that have founder(s) that are planning for retirement. Because owner-managed businesses cannot be transitioned overnight, 4SC is looking to invest and work alongside the founder(s) to transition the business over the course of two to five years. 

4SC’s investment strategy is to acquire businesses that are consistently generating cash flow and attractive returns on invested capital. 4SC is no stranger to complex situations, and is happy to discuss a structure that works for the founder(s).
