Jonathan Hires

Jonathan Hires is an experienced engineering professional specializing in product development within the medical device industry. Currently serving as the Director of Product Development at 4WEB Medical since February 2020, Jonathan oversees all product development activities for the company's foot and ankle line of implants. Prior experience includes six years at Orthofix, where Jonathan held roles from Staff Engineer to Sr. Project Engineer, leading the design and development of spinal implants and managing cross-functional communications. Jonathan's career also includes positions as a Test Engineer at MGA Research Co., a Mechanical Engineer at Dell, and a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, where a focus was placed on minimally invasive catheter design. Jonathan holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.
