Sharon Purcell

Sharon Purcell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sharon has served as a care coordinator and caregiver for aging parents and terminally ill loved ones during their self-employment. In their role as Chapter President for 4word, a professional women's organization, they successfully relaunched a previously failed chapter. Sharon has also been an Advisory Board Member for Our Mayberry, a cause-based commerce platform.

In the healthcare sector, Sharon has held leadership positions. As Chief of Staff for Nura Health, they provided oversight and guidance to important projects, advised the CEO on various activities, and facilitated decision-making. Sharon served as a Board Member for Health eVillages, which aims to improve healthcare access and quality through mobile technology.

Earlier in their career, Sharon worked in the healthcare industry as a Brand & Marketing Manager for Concure Oncology / Breast Microseed Inc., where they played a crucial role in creating awareness and building the brand. Sharon also served as the Vice President of Client Development for Nura Life Sciences, focusing on attracting clients and investors with the company's healthcare informatics solutions.

Before their healthcare roles, Sharon worked as a Senior Business Development Consultant and VP Sales for various companies, including CareCap LLC, Nura Life Sciences, CordTrack Partners, and Marsha Clark & Associates. Sharon started their career at GE, where they held various sales, marketing, operations, and leadership roles. Additionally, Sharon played a key role in co-founding and leading The GE Women's Network, an organization focused on fostering the development and advancement of women at the company.

Throughout their career, Sharon has demonstrated strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills, contributing to the success of the organizations they have been a part of.

Sharon Purcell obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing/Communications from St. Edward's University between 1985 and 1989.
