Christopher Murphy

Christopher Murphy is an accomplished design professional with extensive teaching and industry experience. Currently serving as an Associate Professor of Design at Grand Canyon University since August 2016, Christopher has also held the position of Assistant Professor of Design. In addition to academic roles, Christopher is a Senior Design Strategist at 5 Stones and the Owner and Designer at one-bit design. Previous positions include Designer at Fivable, Principal Designer at Little Taller, Creative Director at both 5 Stones and Lighthouse Catholic Media, and Instructor at various institutions including The Art Institutes and Northern Illinois University. Christopher holds a Master of Fine Arts in Illustration from the School of Visual Arts and a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication from Farmingdale State College, focusing on illustration.
