Max Farina, M.D. joined 5AM Ventures in 2021 as an Associate. Previously, Dr. Farina was an Associate in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs where he worked as part of the New York-based healthcare group on over $20 billion of announced transactions in biotechnology and biopharma. Dr. Farina earned his M.D. from the Yale School of Medicine, where he graduated cum laude and was awarded the Ferris Thesis Prize for his research establishing a novel mouse model of temporal lobe epilepsy. He earned his M.B.A from the Yale School of Management and earned his B.S. in Neuroscience and Music Performance from Emory University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Dr. Farina is based in the Boston office.
