Clara Mazzone

Clara Mazzone has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Clara is currently employed at 5B as the Global Head of Platform Operations since July 2023. Prior to this role, Clara served as the Principal Ecosystem Advisor and Chief Ecosystem Officer (Acting) at 5B.

Before joining 5B, Clara worked at ITP Renewables where they held the position of Operations Manager and Construction and Inspections Division Manager. Clara also worked as a Project Manager, managing specialized renewable energy projects for clients such as SA Water.

Clara's earlier work experience includes roles at CBS Power Solutions (Fiji) Ltd as a Project Manager, Creative Greentech as a Principal Consultant, GSES India as part of the International Business Development team, as well as Global Sustainable Energy Solutions as the Engineering Project Manager.

Clara also gained valuable experience working at Origin Energy and AECOM Australia Pty Ltd as a Sustainability Researcher and Undergraduate Engineer respectively. Clara's career began at the University of New South Wales where they worked as an Engineering Tutor and Personal Assistant.

Additionally, they served as the Project Manager for the UNSW Solar Racing Team, overseeing the restoration of the team and managing various events and sponsorships.

From 2001 to 2006, Clara Mazzone attended the University of Adelaide, where they pursued a Bachelor of Humanities and Social Sciences. Clara'sfield of study during this time included Italian, Politics, and Environmental Studies. Following that, from 2007 to 2011, they studied at UNSW, focusing on Renewable Energy Engineering. During their time at UNSW, their studies encompassed areas such as Photovoltaics, Energy Efficiency, Electricity Industry, and Renewable Energy Policy.
