Marcus Ng

Marcus Ng is a seasoned professional in renewable energy with extensive experience in solar system design and engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Application Engineer at 5B since May 2021, Marcus leads the development of application guidelines and collaborates on tools that facilitate project design and implementation. As a Principal Consultant at MNG Solar since April 2023, responsibilities include solar system design and contractor management. Previous roles include Project Engineer at Smart Commercial Solar, where over 2.4MWp of projects were engineered and managed, and Solar Project Engineer at Autonomous Energy, contributing to the delivery of over 8.1MWp of projects with notable cost savings. Marcus holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Renewable Energy Engineering from UNSW, graduated in 2017.
