Matthew de Smeth

Matthew de Smeth has a diverse work experience, beginning with their current role as a Partnership Director at 5B since January 2023. Before that, they served as the Head of Solution Delivery at 5B from February 2021 to January 2023. Prior to their time at 5B, Matthew worked at Siemens Gamesa as a Deputy Project Manager from April 2019 to August 2020. Matthew started their career at SMEC as a Civil Engineer/Superintendent's Representative from May 2012 to April 2014, and previously worked as an Undergraduate Engineer at SMEC and PHD Engineering.

Matthew de Smeth completed their education with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering from the University of Wollongong, graduating in 2012. In the same year, they also pursued a minor in International Studies at the same university. Additionally, in 2011, they attended North Carolina State University for a short period to pursue another Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Civil Engineering.
