Valentin Rakovic

Valentin Rakovic has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and organizations. Valentin worked at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technologies - Skopje from 2008 to the present. Their roles at the faculty include Associate Professor (since June 2021), Head of Laboratory for Wireless and Mobile Networks (since November 2019), Assistant Professor (from June 2016 to June 2021), Teaching Assistant (from September 2010 to September 2016), and Research Associate (from September 2008 to September 2016).

In 2017, Valentin Rakovic co-founded 5Dwireless and served as the Principal Researcher. Valentin has been involved with the company since October 2017.

Valentin Rakovic also worked as a Research Consultant at Global Prior Art starting from June 2022. In addition, they had a stint as a Research Fellow (Visiting) at the Georgia Institute of Technology from January 2019 to May 2019.

Valentin Rakovic attended Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Telecommunications Engineering. Valentin then went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Telecommunications Engineering at the same university from 2008 to 2010. Following that, Valentin Rakovic enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy program in Wireless Communications at Ss Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, from which they graduated in 2016.
