Walter Scott

Walter Scott has extensive work experience in the IT industry, with a focus on virtualization and mobility solutions. Walter is currently serving as the Citrix User Group Leader for the Triad and other areas at Citrix User Group Community (CUGC) since January 2021. Prior to this, they worked at 5S Technologies as the Director of Solutions & Services from March 2017 onwards. Walter also served as the Managing Partner at Carolina Cloud Technologies starting from January 2017. Before that, Walter worked at Decisive Data Systems as the Solutions & Services Manager from November 2015 to June 2017. From December 2011 to November 2015, they held the position of Virtualization & Mobility Practice Manager at SLAIT Consulting, where they managed the practice and defined solution offerings. Walter also worked as the Citrix Architect & Product Manager at General Parts Technologies, LLC from March 2010 to February 2012, and as a Senior System Consultant at Alphanumeric Systems from January 2000 to March 2010.

Walter Scott obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Behavior Analysis from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where they studied from 1991 to 1995. Along with their educational background, they also hold additional certifications such as the Citrix Certified Citrix Workspace Microapps Service (CC-WMS) from Citrix, obtained in April 2020. Walter has also pursued certifications from Nutanix, namely Nutanix Platform Professional (NPP), Nutanix Platform Sales Champion (NPSC), and Nutanix Platform Sales Engineer (NPSE), although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
