Tim Bubnack

Tim Bubnack has extensive experience in various industries, primarily focused on investing and serving as a board director. Tim began their career at Silicon Valley Bank as a Managing Director from 2002 to 2007. In 2007, they joined HCAP Partners as a Managing Partner, providing growth capital for small and medium-sized businesses in the Western United States. At HCAP Partners, they worked closely with portfolio companies, offering financial, operational, and strategic assistance.

Throughout their career, Tim Bubnack has also served as an investor and board director for several companies. Tim invested in and served on the boards of Confirm BioSciences, Roadrunner Pharmacy, Vertical Management Systems (VMS), and Advanced Structural Alloys. These companies operate in various industries such as diagnostic testing, pharmacy, technology solutions, and advanced manufacturing.

In recent years, Tim Bubnack has continued their involvement as an investor and board director. Tim joined Saphyre in 2021, where they support direct collaboration and digitization of account information for asset managers and their clients. Tim also became an investor and board director for 5th Kind - Collaborative Media Solutions, providing digital asset management and workflow solutions for entertainment companies and consumer brands. Additionally, they invested in and served on the board of CUBEX LLC, a provider of cloud-based inventory management solutions for the veterinary and dental markets.

Tim Bubnack obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Business Economics from the University of San Diego. Tim attended the university from 1987 to 1991, focusing their studies on Business/Managerial Economics.
