Amy P. has worked in the software engineering industry since 2011. Amy began their career as a Delicatessen Assistant at Safeway Lara in 2011 before moving to Barwon Water in 2013, where they completed a four-week paid internship in Database Modelling. In 2014, Amy P. joined Civica Care (formerly Carelink) and held a number of roles including Senior Analyst Programmer, Analyst Programmer, Software Programmer, Software Quality Assurance Tester, and Service Desk Analyst. In 2021, they joined 6clicks as a Senior Software Engineer.

Amy P. attended Kardinia International College from 2006 to 2011, where they earned a Bachelor of Information Technology in Computer Science and Software Development. Amy then attended Deakin University from 2012 to 2015, where they earned a Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT) with distinction in Computer Software Engineering.
