Joel Kane

Joel Kane has worked in the software development industry since 2005. Joel'sfirst role was as a Software Developer at MicroHelp, where they implemented a scrap metal control and capture application using C# and .NET 2.0 technologies. In 2009, they moved to Lynx IT as a .NET Software Developer, where they were part of a team that implemented a case management system for a large corporate client. In 2012, they joined carsales.com.au as a Software Engineer, where they maintained and improved the company's flagship website. In 2014, they worked as a Software Developer at Containerchain, where they were part of a team creating a mobile application used by truck drivers to provide real-time GPS tracking and job management. In 2016, they joined CrownBet Pty Limited as a Senior Software Developer, where they improved development standards and practices. In 2018, they moved to Welcome Fit as a Full-Stack Software Developer. Joel is currently employed at 6clicks as a Full Stack Software Developer.

Joel Kane attended the University of Melbourne from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechatronics) / Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Computer Science. Joel also holds Microsoft Certified Application Developer, Microsoft Certified Professional, and Microsoft Certified Solution Developer certifications.
