Chao Wang has a long history of work experience. chao began their career in 2007 as an undergraduate at Tsinghua University. In 2012, they took an internship at Youku.com. In 2013, they were an intern at Sogou, where they worked on a ranking system and implemented their SIGIR papers. In 2016, they became a Senior Data Scientist at Baidu, Inc. Finally, in 2018, they became the Chief Technology Officer at 6Estates (AI + Big Data).

Chao Wang attended Tsinghua University from 2007 to 2011 and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Computer Science, Information Retrieval, Machine Learning, Search Engine, and User Behavior Analysis in 2016.
