John Colwell

John Colwell has extensive experience in process engineering and quality management systems. From 2019 to 2018, they worked as Senior Director of Process Engineering at 6K and Senior Manager of Pilot Operations at CAMX Power. From 2016 to 2013, they were Acting Director of Quality Management Systems at XG Sciences, where they were responsible for developing and implementing a Quality Management System (QMS) and improving and managing the Quality Control functions. Additionally, they were the project leader for Silicon/Graphene (SiGTM) anode materials product development and production supervisor/engineer for a 40 T/yr exfoliated graphene nanoplatelet manufacturing facility. From 2008 to 2005, they worked at A123 Systems, where they were Engineering Manager, Chemical Engineer, and Project Leader for new cost savings product and process scale up. Finally, they worked at Cabot Corporation from 2005 to 2008 in various roles, including Associate Engineer, Senior Research Associate, and Research Associate.

John Colwell attended the University of Rhode Island from 1998 to 2004, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in both Chemical Engineering and German.
