Scot Thompson

Scot Thompson has over 30 years of experience in the Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing Business. Scot began their career in 1989 as an Account Manager for 3D Systems. In 2006, they became a Strategic Account Manager for Maxwell Technologies, followed by a role as Business Development Manager for Solid Concepts Inc. from 2007 to 2011. In 2011, they transitioned to EOS - Electro Optical Systems as a West Area Sales Manager. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Commercial Sales Channel Manager - West Region for Desktop Metal. Scot then moved to Carpenter Technology Corporation in 2018 as a Sr. Special Accounts Manager. In 2019, they were a Business Development Manager for Spectra Photopolymers and in 2020 they started their own manufacturer's rep business, MR AM Pro, as Principal. Currently, they are a Senior AM Sales Manager for 6K, where they are producing materials such as Ni, Ti, copper along with refractory metal powders.

Scot Thompson attended Homestead Schools, followed by California State University, Northridge where they studied Engineering.
