David Smith

David Smith has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several roles and companies. David most recently served as the Chief Technology & Architect Officer (Interim) at Bupa since April 2022. Prior to that, they held the position of Head of Technology - Common Platforms at Bupa from December 2020 to April 2022. David has also worked as the Head of Digital Technology at Bupa from February 2019 to December 2020, and as the Head of Marketing and Digital Systems at Bupa from April 2015 to February 2019.

In addition to their roles at Bupa, David has also worked at 6pillars.io as an Advisor/Chief Digital Officer since August 2021. Before that, they served as the CTO at the Movember Foundation from April 2010 to April 2015, where they were responsible for overseeing the design, development, and operation of the organization's online campaign and fundraising platform.

Prior to Movember, David served as the CTO at Panviva from August 2002 to February 2010. David also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Avanteos from November 2001 to May 2002, and as the CIO at PowerServe from August 1995 to October 2001. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Project Manager at Megatec from January 1987 to August 1995.
