Robin Strauss has a diverse work experience in the advertising and digital media industry. Starting in 2003, they worked as a Marketing and Research Intern at E-poll.com, providing support to the marketing and research teams. In 2005, they became a Trafficking Coordinator at InterActive Corp, responsible for managing campaigns. They then moved on to roles in ad operations, working as an Ad Operations Manager at Buzznet.com and later at Live Nation. In 2010, Robin joined ReachLocal as a Manager of Xchange Operations. From 2011 to 2016, they worked at deviantART, Inc., first as a Senior Ad Operations Manager and then as the Director of Ad Operations. At Leaf Group, Robin held the position of Sr. Director of Yield Optimization from 2016 to 2017. They then served as the VP of Ad Technology & Yield at Ranker from 2017 to 2021. Most recently, Robin worked as the VP of Revenue at Granite Media from 2021 to 2022. They are currently the Sr. Director of Advertising Operations at 6sense.
Robin Strauss received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Film and Economics from Occidental College, where they studied from 1997 to 2000. They continued their education at the University of Southern California, obtaining a Master's degree in Communications Management with a focus on Marketing & Entertainment from 2002 to 2004. In addition to their formal education, Robin also obtained certifications such as the IAB Digital Ad Operations Certification in November 2016 and the IAB Advanced Programmatic Program in February 2015 from the IAB institution.
