Andrew is currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at 7Gen, a technology company focused on accelerating the deployment of electric vehicles and infrastructure. Prior to this, they worked as an Executive In Residence at Foresight Canada, a cleantech accelerator.
Before joining Foresight, Andrew was the Principal Advisor & Management Consultant at McFarlane Investment Corp., where they provided fractional COO services to Ion8, technology advisory services and financial product modeling to Somerville Auto Group, and served as an advisor to technology startups at Tandem Innovation Group.
In their previous roles, Andrew held the position of Vice President, Head of Leasing at Somerville National Leasing and Rentals Ltd., where they oversaw the leasing business and drove sales growth. Andrew also served as the President & CEO of Zeemac Vehicle Lease, transforming the company into an industry-leading sales organization.
Earlier in their career, Andrew served as the Managing Partner at STOREX Management Inc., providing management and consulting services to the self-storage industry. Andrew co-founded APEX Self Storage, where they oversaw the business operations and built it into a successful enterprise with multiple locations.

Andrew McFarlane has a strong education history, with a diverse range of programs and degrees. In 1999, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and obtained an MSc. in Industrial Relations. During their time at LSE, Andrew focused on subjects such as organizational change and development, human capital strategy, and international labour relations.
Following this, in 2022 and 2023, they enrolled in the First Nations University of Canada and pursued a Reconciliation Education Certification with a specialization in Indigenous Studies.
