Scott Dudgeon has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications and technical support field. Scott began their career at Health Risk Management, where they served as a Technical Support Analyst and later as a Telecommunications Analyst. During this time, they were responsible for maintaining and troubleshooting Avaya and Rolm PBX and voicemail systems, as well as assisting in the conversion of phone switches.
Scott then joined the University of Minnesota as a Telecommunications Service Process Technician, where they configured the telecommunications database and handled customer inquiries and work requests.
Following that, Dudgeon worked at Seagate Technology as a Telecommunications Analyst and later as a Telecommunications Engineer. In these roles, they supported, configured, and repaired Cisco CUCM, CUC, and CCX systems, as well as multi-node Rolm telephone switch and Phonemail systems. Scott also played a significant role in the conversion from Rolm and Avaya platforms to Cisco CUCM.
Dudgeon's next position was at POPP Communications as a Technical Assistance Specialist, where they troubleshooted Toshiba IP telephone and voice mail systems, configured Metaswitch interface, and provided technical support for clients.
Scott then worked at Resideo as a Technical Support Specialist, troubleshooting HVAC installations and providing support for thermostat settings and wiring configurations. Scott completed training to support combustion, zoning, and air quality products and documented all issues and resolutions using Salesforce.
Currently, Dudgeon is employed with 75F as a Building Automation System Support Agent Level 1. In this role, they assist with smart building automation, leveraging IoT, Cloud Computing, and Machine Learning for data-driven building controls for HVAC, lighting, and energy optimization.
Overall, Dudgeon has a diverse background in technical support, telecommunications, and building automation, with a strong focus on troubleshooting and providing excellent customer service.
Scott Dudgeon has obtained a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Minnesota. Additionally, they have completed Teacher Licensure studies from the same institution. In May 2014, Scott also obtained the CCENT certification from Cisco.
