Jonas Aas Torland

Jonas Aas Torland started their work experience in 2008 as an Internship Geologist at Talisman Energy. Jonas Aas continued their internship as a Geologist at Rocksource ASA in 2010 before joining the company as an Exploration Geologist in 2011. In 2015, they became an Explorationist at Pure E&P Norway.

In 2016, Jonas co-founded 7EP AS, where they served as a Co-founder and Senior Geologist until 2017. Jonas Aas also worked as a Project Manager Consultant for Presenter - Making Sense of Science during the same year.

In 2018, Jonas co-founded Mosaiq AS and started working as a Senior Geoscientist at M Vest Energy AS. Jonas Aas continued their role as a Senior Geoscientist at M Vest Energy AS until March 2021.

Currently, Jonas holds the position of Co-founder and CCO at 7Analytics, a technology company specializing in sustainable city development solutions. Jonas Aas has been with the company since 2020 and is part of StartupLab's Accelerator program.

Jonas Aas Torland started their education in 2003 at St. Olav Videregående skole, where they studied for a duration of two years. The specific degree and field of study are not provided for this period. Later on, from 2006 to 2011, Jonas pursued a Master of Science degree in Petroleum Geology at the University of Bergen (UiB).
