Andy Kilpatrick

Andy Kilpatrick has been working in the software engineering industry since 1989. From 1989 to 2002, they worked at Data Connection Limited as a Software Engineer, where they developed expertise in C, C++ and Java programming, as well as Windows and UNIX/Linux system administration, shell scripting, Python and some Perl. From 2002 to 2020, they worked at Metaswitch Networks, first as a Lead Test Engineer and then as a Test Manager, where they managed teams in engineering and customer care, and was responsible for delivering telco-quality releases to large international customers. Since 2020, they have been working at Microsoft as a Senior Software Engineer, where they are a Test Lead in Azure Cloud & AI - 5G, working with Python test tooling, Gitlab CI, Kubernetes, Helm, and Azure Cloud tools and testing in agile/scrum teams. Currently, they are also working at 7bridges as a Senior Back End Developer.

Andy Kilpatrick attended the University of Cambridge from 1984 to 1988, where they earned a BA in Natural Sciences (Physics). Andy then returned to the University of Cambridge from 1988 to 1989, where they obtained a Diploma in Computer Science.
